Do I need to be creative?
Not at all. If you can flip through a magazine and use a glue stick, you're ready. The guided session helps you know what you're looking for before you begin.
What's included?
A welcome mocktail and light snacks, a guided goal-planning session, a printed goal-planning worksheet to take home, a curated collection of images and embellishments, every tool you need, and a black frame for your finished board.
Should I eat beforehand?
We recommend it. We serve light snacks to enjoy during breaks, but not a full meal.
Will there be alcohol?
At select evenings, drinks are available to purchase. The event listing will say when. The welcome mocktail is always included.
Can I bring my own images?
Please do. Bring printed photos, quotes or anything meaningful to you. Forgot to print? Send us up to two photos on the night and we'll print them for you.
Where are your public evenings held?
At City and Coast Studios, 3125 31 Avenue, 2nd Floor, in downtown Vernon. The studio is accessible by stairs only. Street and parkade parking are within walking distance.
Can you host in my home?
Yes. Private evenings are available throughout the Okanagan, including Kelowna, Lake Country and Predator Ridge, in your home or a venue of your choice. Visit our Private Evenings page to enquire.
What if the evening doesn't fill?
Each public evening needs at least eight guests. If we haven't reached that 72 hours before, you'll receive a full refund.

Yes. A Paper Dreams evening makes a thoughtful gift, and gift cards are available online.
